How often do you exercise? 30 minutes a day. Usually, I exercise twice a day doing some form of cardio.

What was your starting weight? 205 pounds

What is your current weight? 175 pounds. I am still on my journey. I want to lose 20 more lbs.

What is your height? I’m 5’3″

When did you start your journey? How long did your transformation take? It started in September 2023. It took me 35 days initially to lose about 23 lbs. Since then, I have improved my diet and exercise in my lifestyle.

What’s the biggest lesson you’ve learned so far? I learned that diet is 80% of weight and health. Exercise is another 20%. I know people get tired of hearing the cliche, “You are what you eat.” But if we really take this to heart, we will pay more attention to the types and amounts of food we eat. The meeting Terry Starks it changed my life. I was diabetic and had high blood pressure and high cholesterol. All my numbers have improved, and I no longer have diabetes or high cholesterol. My BP is genetic so I was able to lower the meds but stayed on a low dose to be safe with the highs. I will also seek the help of a cardiologist to further determine if I can get off the BP meds.

What advice do you have for women who want to lose weight? Make up your mind, and do it. If you’re tired of yo-yo diets and fads, email Terry. I was in my office on my knees crying after being discharged from the doctors with negative health outcomes. I went on social media and typed “nutritionist”, and Terry Starks came up. Within 1 hour, he answered me. I am of the spirit, I thanked the Lord in the Highness because I was in a time of depression. Contacting him saved my life because all the doctors wanted to do was give me another pill of this and that. If you have discipline and a strong will to live, the key is to find a healthy diet and exercise plan. You get cheat days, but most of your focus should be on healthy eating.

I am 54 years old, and I did not want to spend my life taking more pills to correct deficiencies and health issues that I could correct by simply changing my habits. In addition, medicines are expensive. I’d rather spend that money on healthy habits.

Start today, and don’t look back. I can’t even eat the way I used to when I wanted to. I rarely eat fried food, and when I do, the taste is not the same. My body no longer craves greasy, fatty foods. I prefer to eat a bowl of kale with nuts. I’m not where I want to be yet, but I’m on my way. My body composition has changed, and I enjoy the way I feel.
