This pretty in pink Rosé Sangria Sparkler looks gorgeously elaborate, but it’s anything but. Just slice some fruit into a pitcher with a bottle of rosé wine, let the flavors meld together, then add some sparkling mineral water to create a nice, light effervescent pop. This drink has no added sugar and is light in alcohol, but heavy on aroma, color, and flavor, making it the perfect party drink.
I love that deep pink rosé wines are all the rage. I still remember that soda pop pink wine of my youth called White Zinfandel. Oh, but the rosé wines are so much better today. While they are simply delicious—crisp, aromatic, floral—sipped as an aperitif prior to your meal, they are also fabulous in mixed drinks, as in this lovely, deep pink sangria, which sparkles complements of sparkling mineral water. I used a pinot noir rosé wine to provide a deeper, richer color, but you can easily use any rosé wine you prefer. I used nectarines, grapes, cherries, and honeydew melon as my choice of fruit in this Sangria, but you can use other fruits on hand, including watermelon, cantaloupe, peaches, and berries. Your creativity is all you need to get you going! Cheers!
