Abridge hired Mario Queiroz as its new chief product officer. He joined the company from Hinge Health, where he held a similar position. Prior to that, Queiroz spent nearly 15 years working at Google.
Ambience Healthcare welcomed William Morris as the new medical officer. He comes to the organization from Google Cloud, where he served as chief medical information officer. Prior to that, he worked at the Cleveland Clinic for over 15 years.
I American Hospital Association Claire Zangerle as chief nursing officer, and CEO of the American Organization for Nursing Leadership. In the past, he has held leadership positions at Allegheny Health Network, Cleveland Clinic and Memorial Hermann Health System.
Cleveland Clinichired David Peter as its chief medical officer. Prior to this position, he spent nearly ten years working at Cleveland Clinic Hospitals in clinical and leadership roles.
CommonSpirit Health hired Brady Small as CIO for its mountain region. He joins the organization from Oracle Health, where he served as director and chief client officer.
Pelago welcomed Frank Jennings as its president. In the past, he has held senior roles at Covera Health, Doctor on Demand and Castlight Health.
Become a Health Person hired Christopher Paquette as chief transformation officer and Mehran Mosbriantanha as chief security officer.
Providence has appointed Darryl Elmouchi as its next COO. He will join Providence from Corewell Health, where he served as COO. Providence’s current COO, Erik Wexler, will take over as CEO on January 1 following the retirement of Providence CEO Rod Hochman.

Former Oak Street Health CEO Mike Pykosz has stepped down from his role CVS Health. The company said Sree Chaguturu, CVS’s chief medical officer, has stepped in to fill the role vacated by Pykosz, the president of healthcare.
Dismissal
Headspace lays off 13% of its workforce. This follows the redundancies from last year when 15% of the workforce was laid off.
Sonata Therapeutics is parting ways with its CEO Volker Herrmann and laying off about 20 employees.
UPMC is laying off about 100 workers, which is 0.1% of its workforce. The health plan does not provide information about the types of positions affected.
Westchester Medical Center Health Network lay off about 130 employees. The layoffs — which represent less than 1% of the health system’s workforce — are occurring mostly in corporate and administrative positions.
